    In the process of producing various steel products in steel plants, there are two methods of using molten steel to solidify and form: the traditional die casting method and the continuous steel casting method.

    Continuous Steel Casting is an advanced technology that directly casts molten steel into shape. Compared with traditional methods, continuous casting technology has significant advantages such as greatly improving metal yield and billet quality, and saving energy.

     

    Process flow

    1. Transport the ladle containing the refined molten steel to the turret. After the turret turns to the pouring position, pour the molten steel into the tundish, and the tundish distributes the molten steel to each crystallizer through the nozzle.

    2. The crystallizer is one of the core equipment of the continuous casting machine, which makes the casting shape and solidifies and crystallizes rapidly.

    3. The tension leveler and the crystallization vibration device work together to pull out the casting in the crystallizer, and cut it into a certain length of billet after cooling.

    Continuous casting automation control mainly includes control technologies such as continuous casting machine throwing roll speed control, crystallizer vibration frequency control, and fixed-length cutting control.
